When I was in Australia, myself and two friends entertained the idea of walking around Ireland. In a way, I’ve finally gotten around to attempting such an adventure, albeit with some alterations. Setting off on the 26th, myself and a companion will cycle the south coast of the country, ending up somewhere around Lisdooncarna. Out estimated route is Dublin-Wexford-Waterford-Cork-Killarney-dingle-Tralee etc. When I was spending my life savings on this contraption, the sales assistant said ‘you ARE travelling with experienced cyclists, right?’. I looked at my shoes. This is going to be interesting.
